ETF Consultants and Local Officers in Site of Wenchian Yingxiu New Town

After the Sichuan Earthquakes in 2008, Environmental Technologies Foundation aimed to contribute an assist to the reconstruction of water and waste water systems within the Earthquake Stricken Area.

In this project, ETF played an important role as a professional facilitator on technology transfer during the site visiting at Wenchuan water treatment plant. Moreover, ETF succeeded in facilitating the technology exchange since there was a constructive discussion among ETF, Sichuan local authorities and project partner, an American waste water treatment provider. ETF was honored to introduce advanced water technologies and valuable water resources management experience to the earthquake reconstruction campaign.
